What we keep when you book
- The lead traveller's name, phone number and email address, if you give one.
- Each traveller's full name and passport number, because a tour operator must pass these to lodges, parks and transport.
- The route or lodge, dates, party size, extras and any note you type.
- The language you used, and the time the request arrived.
We do not ask for card details on this website, and no payment is taken here.
Why we keep it
To hold your request, to contact you about it, and to arrange the trip you asked for. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and there is no advertising or analytics tracker on this site.
Who sees it
Office staff, through a protected page that needs a staff key. The website and its database are hosted by Cloudflare. A lodge, park or driver sees only what is needed to deliver the trip you booked.
How long it stays
Until the trip is finished and the office no longer needs the record for its accounts, or until you ask us to delete it. You can ask at any time by phone or WhatsApp, and we will delete the booking and the passport numbers in it.
On your own device
Your language choice and a draft of a booking stay in your browser. Passport numbers are not stored in your browser. Clearing your browser data removes the draft.

Ask us to show you what we hold, to correct it, or to delete it. Call either number above. If you ask for deletion, we will confirm when it is done.
Booking terms
- Prices are quoted in US dollars, per person for tours and per room per night for lodges. The birr figure shown beside a dollar price is an approximate guide at the rate in the office settings.
- Sending the form is a request, not a confirmed booking. The office confirms the dates, the price and the deposit with you by WhatsApp, email or phone.
- A 30 percent deposit is shown to hold a place. Nothing is charged by this website. The balance and the method of payment are agreed with the office.
- You can cancel from the manage a booking page with your reference and the phone number you booked with, or by calling the office. Cancelling there marks the booking cancelled and releases the places.
- Any money already paid is refunded or kept according to the terms agreed with the office when you booked. The website does not process refunds. Ask the office for the cancellation window that applies to your trip before you pay a deposit.
- Each traveller needs a passport valid for the trip, and any visa the route requires. Names on the booking must match the passport.
- Travel insurance is not included. Please arrange your own.
- Prices can change until the office confirms the booking. If a price changes, the office will tell you before any money is paid.
